Donations are now been accepted

Help us breakdown barriers to play by donating your unused or pre loved football shin pads. 

Football is the most popular sport worldwide, and there are so many children and adults who do not have the same opportunities to safely play the game that they are so passionate about.

In the UK, children and adults are often found purchasing new pairs of shin pads every season. This means that their used football shin pads are often left in near-perfect condition with them either ending up in landfill or left at the back of a cupboard.

Our goal is to give these football shin pads a second chance and and help disadvantaged children and adults into the affiliated game by providing them with the mandatory equipment.

Communication and Participation Officer Chris Johnson said; "We know that there is a growing number of people who are unable to access affiliated football because they are lacking the basic kit. Donated shin pads will be distributed to disadvantaged communities across Hull & East Riding with this initiative also reducing the amount of kit that often ends up in land fill."
