East Riding FA is delighted to announce that Cancer Research UK is our chosen charity partner for the 2023 / 24 season.

CRUK is the world’s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving lives through research, influence and information. They support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

We are looking forward to supporting CRUK and its vision for a better future to effectively eliminate, prevent, and successfully treat and diagnose cancer to bring about a world where everybody can lead longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.

Throughout the season we will be helping raise awareness of cancer by supporting a number of CRUK campaigns. We will also be participating in fundraising initiatives to help raise vital funds.

Adam Lowthorpe, East Riding FA CEO said; “We are delighted to be supporting the vital work that Cancer Research UK undertakes each year. Through our network of clubs, leagues and volunteers we will raise awareness of the issues affecting people with cancer and hopefully play an important role in reducing cancer rates.”

Cancer Research UK Relationship Manager Andrea Day said; Cancer Research UK could not operate without our incredible supporters, cancer death rates are down by 16% in the last 20 years, a great achievement due to the support of the public and our first class scientists, doctors and nurses. We are so excited to be able to work with the East Riding Football Association, their support will contribute hugely to seeing 3 in 4 people survive a cancer diagnosis in the next 11 years. I'm looking forward to supporting them in the coming year.”
