Hull City Academy DNA workshop - Coaching In the Professional Development Phase

East Riding FA in partnership with Hull City Academy are inviting grassroots football coaches from our region to learn more about how players are coached within the Professional Development Phase.

The club has enjoyed great success in recent years with a number of academy players going on to play in the Tigers first team with current first team stars Brandon Fleming, Jacob Greaves, Callum Jones all coming through the academy set up.

At the workshop attendees will be introduced to the academy's coaching philosophy and how this is implemented within the Professional Development Phase. There will also be opportunity to view a training session with the clubs U21's side with attendees learning how and why training sessions are structured the way they are.

The workshop will end with a question and answer session with the academy staff which will include Academy Manager Richard Naylor, U21 Academy Coach Connor Sellers and Head of Academy Coaching Matt Hare.

East Riding FA Football Services Officer Liz Shipp said; "This is a fantastic opportunity for grassroots football coaches from our region to learn about the inner workings of a professional football academy. We are delighted Hull City Academy have partnered with us to offer this opportunity."
