Weetabix Wildcat Girls Football
Female Football participation on the rise in East Riding
With the Women's Euros now in full swing we are delighted to announce that there is more opportunity then ever for girls to get involved in football with Weetabix Wildcats.
Aimed at girls aged 5-11 Weetabix Wildcats is non-competitive football for girls who want to give it a go for the very first time or want to play with girls their own age. Most importantly, Weetabix Wildcats is all about having loads of fun and meeting new amazing friends.
There are now 18 Weetabix Wildcat providers in our region with girls able to play football for the first time in a number of locations thanks to our network of grassroots football clubs.
Rebecca Bolton, Inclusive Participation Officer at East Riding FA, said; "All our Weetabix Wildcat centres provides a fantastic setting for girls to play football and we are delighted to be able to offer so many fantastic opportunities to play across the county."
Female football participation is on the rise in East Riding with the WEUROS playing an important role in inspiring the next generation of Lionesses."
