Vacancy - Fixture Secretary
The East Riding Girls Football League is a not-for-profit volunteer led organisation that supports the development of girl’s football by organising and administering league and cup fixtures for teams in East Riding.
Founded in 2001 the league has grown in its popularity to the point where it is now the second biggest football league in the county with over 100 teams.
To support the administration of the league we are inviting applications for the role of Fixture Secretary. The role will involve the arrangement and rearrangement of League & Cup fixtures using the FA Full Time system. You will also be expected to attend monthly committee meetings.
Applicants must be experienced in using IT equipment with knowledge of FA systems preferred:
Key Roles:
Arrangement of League and Cup fixtures
Rearrangement of postponed fixtures
Publish fixtures through Full Time
Key Skills:
Ability to use IT equipment
Ability to manage fixtures and communicate with clubs
Ability to work on fixture re-arrangements at short notice
Ability to deal with clubs conflicting requests and expectations
Key Relationships:
Referees Secretary
Team managers
Essential:
General computer knowledge
Basic FA Full Time Knowledge
Available to attend monthly committee meetings
You will also be required to undertake an FA DBS check and complete the FA Safeguarding for Committee Members online workshop.
