2 new Women’s Turn Up and Play Sessions are now running in the east riding 

The East Riding County FA Have teamed up with Two clubs to deliver weekly Sessions for Women aged 18+. 

With the success of the Lionesses in the World Cup this summer there has been an increased need to provide some Turn Up and Play sessions for Women in the County to supplement the offer of league football so that Women can take part in some recreational weekly sessions. 

The County has a local Women’s League where teams play in weekly fixtures, but there is definitely a need for more places for Women to play without the commitment of playing in a team.

Two sessions are now running in the East Riding through two local football clubs, Hornsea Sporting JFC and Springhead FC.

The sessions are for Women aged 18+ of all abilities.  It doesn’t matter if you have played before or want to give football a go for the first time, it’s all about being able to play football in a fun and flexible environment.

Session details are as follows: 

Club: Springhead FC

Day: Sunday

Time: 5pm-6pm 

Venue: Hull Indoor Sports Centre (outdoor on the small pitches)

Cost: £3 per session

Time: 9:30am-10:30am 

Venue: Hornsea School and Language College (on the 3G pitch)

No need to book on the session, just turn up and get involved.
