World Cup Winner to be Guest of Honour
ENGLAND WORLD CUP WINNER TO BE GUEST OF HONOUR
THE EAST RIDING FA IS DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THAT CURRENT ENGLAND U17'S HEAD COACH STEVE COOPER IS TO BE GUEST OF HONOUR AT THE EAST RIDING FA GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL AWARDS.
Fresh from England's UEFA European U17 Championship campaign Steve is also the last England manager to lift the FIFA World Cup after he led his side to glory in the 2017 FIFA World Cup in India. Credited with bringing through players such as Phil Foden and Jadon Sancho the the Welshman has a history of supporting the grassroots game and has also held roles such as Head of Youth Development at Wrexham and Academy manager at Liverpool FC.
Charged with bringing the latest crop of England talent to Gareth Southgates senior side Steve will be on hand to celebrate our local FA and McDonalds Grassroots Football Award winners at the East Riding FA grassroots Football Awards which are taking place on Saturday 13th July at the KCOM Stadium
