April was an exciting month for girl’s football with local clubs and organisations launching their SSE Wildcats Girls’ Football Centres. 

SSE Wildcats Girls’ Football Centres will provide girls aged 5-11 years old with regular opportunities to play football and take part in organised sessions in a fun and engaging environment created exclusively for girls.The Centres are all about having fun, making friends and playing football.

They take place on a weekly basis, either after school or at weekends. They will provide a safe environment where girls with no football experience can; have fun engaging with sport, develop fundamental skills, try a variety of sessions, learn new things and create foundations for a lifelong love of sport.

Each SSE Wildcats Centre is run in conjunction with the East Riding County FA and utilises qualified coaches and local facilities to offer girls a location nearby where they can get involved.
