PERSONAL ACCIDENT AND LEGAL LIABILITY INSURANCE:
There are two types of insurance policies required for the season.
PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE - this provides protection for someone who is injured in an accident whilst participating in a club activity. This policy could provide either a lump sum benefit or weekly amount (dependent on the cover selected). The minimum level of insurances clubs must take out are:
- Intermediate Adult team cover: £38 per team
- Small sided / Walking / Veterans football team cover: £25
- Basic Youth team (U13’s and above) cover: £20 per team
LEGAL LIABILITY INSURANCE - this provides protection against any claims made by third parties against you e.g. claims for slips and trips or damage to third party property as a result of your negligence.
Legal Liability Insurance: £64 per club
Please note the level of personal accident insurance adult clubs must purchase is ‘intermediate’ and the level of cover youth teams must purchase is ‘basic’.
Note: Any new clubs wishing to affiliate for the first time should email email@example.com, with their Club name and details of the Club Secretary.
