East Riding FA is looking to recruit a dynamic, self-motivated team member to work with the network and partners across East Riding to increase football participation for all.

Post Title: Participation Officer (Inclusion)

Location / Base: Roy West Centre, 220 Inglemire Lane, Hull HU6 7TS

Hours of work: 35 hours per week including weekend and evening work as required

Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, dynamic and committed individual to join East Riding County FA in increase football participation for all.

East Riding County FA brings together a strong network of grassroots football members with the mission to create and enhance opportunities for everyone to find fulfilment within football.

We are looking for a team player who can lead from the front, to work closely with the Football Development Manager to implement the East Riding County FA Operational Plan which contributes to the FA National Game Strategy and East Riding County FA Business Plan. Providing leadership skills and direction to key stakeholders and partners.

The post holder will be responsible for, and stretch across three key themes:

  • Strategically coordinating disability football provision
  • Working with the East Riding Inclusion Advisory Group to consult on plans and engage advocates for diversity and inclusion work
  • Driving the implementation of the FA's growth strategy for female football locally

You will be highly motivated, have a proven track record in developing opportunities to increase the number of people playing football, a self starter, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and enthuse others and demonstrate a real understanding of current issues facing the drive to increase football participation in the County. 

The East Riding FA is committed to safeguarding children and adults at risk. Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be expected to undertake a Disclosure and Baring service (DBS) check through the FA DBS process. Having a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and the information provided.
