Six New Centres Join The Wildcats Movement

The East Riding County FA are excited to announce the addition of six new FA Wildcats Girls’ Football Centres for 2020.

We are pleased to share that; AFC SkirlaughElloughton Blackburn, Gilberdke Pheonix, Howden AFC, Kingswood United and Stamford Bridge will all be delivering Wildcats Centres in 2020.

Last year 8 Centres were running within the County providing lots of opportunities for girls aged 5 to 11 to get involved in football for the first time in a fun safe environment.

These Centres have supported the growth of female within the County, and given hundreds of girls the chance to give football a go and try the sport in a supportive and developmental environment.

2020 will see 6 new Centres starting from April onwards at a number of different venues across the County.

Centres that will be running in 2020 within our County will be:

AFC Skirlaugh

Cottgham Rangers

Elloughton Blackburn

Fulford FC

Gilberdyke Pheonix

Hornsea Sporting

Heslerton JFC

Hessle Rangers

Howden AFC

Kingswood United

Pelican Park Community Trust

Stamford Bridge

Tigers Trust

The new Centres will start in April onwards and more information will be shared very soon once Centres have launched the promotion of their sessions

All sessions will have an online booking system, for parents to book their child on.

East Riding FA Women and Girls Football Development Officer, Kirsty Leake said about the project "It’s great to have all the Centres running last year continuing to do so in 2020, they have provided lots of opportunities for girls to get involved and this will only continue to grow this year. It’s exciting to have new clubs on board this year too, running new Centres, who will provide opportunities in some areas where there isn’t any or much provision for girls, so this is great for the County."
