Female Friendly Clubs Workshop

The East Riding County FA are excited to announce they will be hosting a Female Friendly Club Workshop in April.

The interactive workshop is aimed at both club and committee members and coaches will provide practical advice on creating the right environment to support the growth of female participation.

The workshop will be aimed at clubs who do not have a female section or those who wish to grow their women and girls section.

The session will be delivered by FA Consultants with support from Kirsty Leake, the East Riding FA Women and Girl’s Football Development Officer.

The workshop details for the East Riding are:

Date: Thursday 23rd April 2020
Time: 6pm-9pm
Venue: David Lloyd Club, Raich Carter Way, Hull, HU7 3DB

Food and refreshments will be supplied on the evening. So attendees can enjoy a light tea and a drink prior to the workshop starting.

On the evening we will be joined by a local Charter Standard Club who will take part in a Q&A about their journey in growing and developing female opportunities. They will share how they got to where they are today and share the challenges they encountered along the way, share ideas and be on hand to answer any questions about their experiences.

Kirsty Leake Women and Girls Football Development Officer said:

‘The workshop aims to support clubs in growing more female provision. It will provide practical advice, on and off field support and give clubs ideas on how to kick start more female activity at their club. It’s also a great opportunity to network with other clubs, to discuss and share ideas and help grow female football within the East Riding.’

Places at the workshop will be limited to two per club.
