News adult male summer league launched

the only place to play 11-a-side this summer.

The East Riding FA are pleased to announce the return of our annual 11-a-side Summer League. Starting on Monday 10th June the league is open to teams both old and new and provides people with a fantastic opportunity to play football under the summer sun. Created with the aim of giving existing teams the opportunity to keep playing in preparation for the new season the league also welcomes teams who are starting out for the very first time and prefer the midweek option over the traditional weekend format.

In operation for over three seasons the league will once again take place at the University of Hull with both of the of the venues fantastic artificial 3G pitches being utilised. Games will kick off at either 7pm or 8pm with games played under the usual Laws of the Game. The exception to this is that games are 50 minutes in length meaning that you can still play the beautiful game without interfering with your usual weekend routine.

Previous seasons has seen teams such as Newland Cosmo, Easington United and Reckitts AFC participate with clubs attracted by the offer of low administration and a competition which is focused on participation rather than winning.

Places are limited so we would urge you to register your teams interest as soon as possible.
