Match report by John Peircy

Costello Sharks turned up to the final with a full squad  but only hours before didn't know if they could raise a team due to illness and injuries.  After some hard work to get the players patched up and ready they were all ready to go.

The game started off at a quick pace where it was Kingston Cougars who took the early lead from a great finish from their right hand side. Costello Sharks dug deep and started to put a string of passes together and soon equalised when a great ball was delivered into the box and was met at the near post to level it.  Costello are now winning majority of the balls in the midfield and causing Kingston all sorts of problems, the reshuffle and introduction of Adam Naylor and Bailey Ambler saw Costello take the lead.

The second half saw some great play by both teams but yet again it was Costello who broke through with a great through ball and a neat finish from the striker. Costello quickly capitalized on another defensive error to make it 2-3, Costello's midfield were pulling the strings and yet another great through ball from the midfield put the striker one on one who made no mistake.  Costello seemed to be cruising but with only 10 minutes left Kingston were awarded a penalty which made it 3-4, with only a couple minutes left of normal time Kingston found a way through to equalise.  With five minutes left of added time and the game look destined to got to extra time, Costello was again found a break through to make it 4-5.  With only two minutes left Costello killed the game off with a very nice finish to make it 4-6.
