Setting Up a Club

Setting up a club takes more than some may expect but we have all the information & supporting documentation you need. It can be found on our website by clicking here.

Clubs need to have the following in place;

  • Club Constitution
  • Codes of Conduct
  • Policies & Procedures
  • Club Committee

to get started and will also help towards achieving Charter Standard criteria which is part of the T’s & C’s.

Affiliation & Club Name

Affiliation is what you do with us here at the County FA and is an online process through the FA Whole Game System however if you are a new club you will need setting up on the system to be able to log in. To get this set up please contact Tina Edwards on telephone number 01482 221158 between 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday or email here at

Your club name is what you will be constituted as, affiliated as and registered with the league as. You need to check with Tina that the club name you want is available. There must be no differentiation between your affiliated club name and your league registered club name with the league.

You will want to contact the league you are looking to join for the 2017-18 season so they can send you out a registration form along with any other additional information. For contact details of league Secretaries please click here.

FA Charter Standard

The FA Charter Standard programme rewards those clubs that hold this accreditation as they operate at a higher standard through adopting relevant policies and holding relevant qualifications. We are a County that has one of the highest percentage of Charter Standard leagues and clubs therefore it is part of this grants criterion that you become a Charter Standard club.
