Get involved with FA Wildcats Girls' Football Centres
Have fun, make friends, play football.
The FA Wildcats Girls’ Football Centres provide girls with regular opportunities to play football and take part in organised sessions in a fun and engaging environment created exclusively for girls.
The sessions take place on a weekly basis, either after school or at weekends, subject to the local organiser. They will provide a safe environment where girls with no football experience can; have fun engaging with sport, develop fundamental skills, try a variety of sessions, learn new things and create foundations for a lifelong love of sport.
Each Wildcats Centre will be run in conjunction with local County FAs and utilising qualified coaches and local facilities to offer girls a location nearby where they can get involved.
Within the East Riding during 2020 we will be running 14 Wildcats Centres across the County through a number of local grassroots clubs and local organisations.
This year Wildcats Centres will be by the following clubs/organisations:
- AFC Skirlaugh
- Cottingham Rangers
- Elloughton Blackburn JFC
- Fulford Football Club
- Gilberdyke Phoenix Football Club
- Helserton JFC
- Hessle Rangers FC
- Hornsea Sporting JFC
- Howden AFC
- Hull City Ladies Football Club
- Kingswood United
- Pelican Park Community Trust
- Stamford Bridge JFC
- Tigers Trust

Wildcats sessions are fun, enjoyable and a great introduction to football. They are aimed at those who may have never played football before, so if your daughter hasn't played before this a great place to start.
The sessions are structured to accommodate the beginner girl and develop fundamental movements and give a fantastic fun introduction to football. We have had girls attend the sessions within the County that had never kicked a ball before and after the attending a Wildcats Centre, they are now enjoying playing football weekly, some have gone on to join a team they enjoyed it that much. Some just love to come to the Wildcats Centre sessions every week and have fun and make friends.
We have 14 Wildcats Centres for 2020. Centres are being run by clubs and organisations, so there will be a Centre near you. They are run at accessible venues.
