Developing the game takes money whether it is for building a new clubhouse, upgrading changing rooms, improving pitches or replacing old goalposts.
The East Riding County FA Development Manager is here to help you identify funding opportunities through the Football Foundation, Sport England or other partners. The East Riding County FA are working closely with the Local Authorities within the County to help them produce Playing Pitch Strategies, minimise the loss of playing fields under new legislation and plan for the demand for playing pitches following the announcements made under the Youth Development Review.
The Football Foundation’s funding partners - the Premier League, The FA and the Government (through Sport England) will be investing £102 million over the next three years into a new fund to be managed by the Football Foundation.
This new Fund will be called the “Premier League & The FA Facilities Fund” and will replace the previous Football Foundation Grass Roots Facilities Fund. The Fund will be managed by the Football Foundation and will be open to football clubs, schools, councils and local sports associations to support the development of new or refurbished local football facilities.
The Foundation will accept Expressions Of Interest and applications for the new Fund with effect from Monday 20 January 2014 and applicants should use the following link http://www.footballfacilityenquiry.co.uk/
