On Tuesday 13th December 2011 East Riding County FA in conjunction with the Humber Sports Partnership are running a free ‘Marketing your Club / League to the wider Community’ workshop.
The workshop has been designed to support all FA Charter Standard Clubs and Leagues and will take place at East Riding County FA, The Roy West Centre, 220 Inglemire Lane, Hull, HU6 7TS from 7 – 9pm.
Ever wondered how you can attract new players, volunteers and sponsors and promote the great work your Club or League does?
The Humber Sports Partnership will be able to assist with both internal communications and promoting awareness of your Club or League to the wider community.
This will include communications with the local media and guidance on writing a press release. There are also a range of free resources available for promotional purposes such as free websites, newsletters or flyers.
Social media is another option for communications within the club network or wider promotion. We will go through the basics of creating a facebook page or even the group option which enables a closed group which can only be accessed by Club / League members and not visible to the wider public. There are also a range of free websites and we can cover the content considerations for a website and display the free resources available to you, including wordpress templates.
