It is most important that the mark is awarded fairly and not based upon isolated incidents or previous games. The Referee’s performance should be determined by the table below which should act as a guide for the overall mark which should fall within the mark range for each standard of performance.
If you decide that the referee at your game performs lower than the standard required, you can submit a low mark report. The purpose of these reports is to identify training needs for referees and set personal action plans for match officials within the East Riding which in turn will enhance the overall enjoyment of participants involved in football. You will receive written confirmation that the report has been processed and any advice to yourself, that will enable you to submit future forms if the need arises.
