Who Said Its A Mans Game?

As a means of increasing the numbers of females involved in football, the East Riding County have produced a booklet highlighting the numerous opportunities available to females regardless of their age, ability or experience.

WHO SAID IT’S A MAN’S GAME!

Many people will be familiar with the roles of players, coaches and referees but what about those behind the scenes that we don’t always see? What about the club and league secretaries? What roles do they play and why are they so important? Even if you know about these positions you may not know how to get involved or realise how easy it is and how enjoyable it can be. What about support? Is there any support for coaches, managers and referees?

This booklet aims to answer all of these questions and many more by exploring the various roles of a number of females involved in football across the County and highlight the opportunities to try it out. Whether you are a player, coach, referee, parent, grandparent or even a young volunteer, there is something for everyone and a case study to prove it. Why not have a look and see what you think and if you like it, pass it on.
