Pan Disability Football League
The East Riding County FA hold a 5-a-side disability football league for adult and junior teams with fixtures taking place on the last Saturday of every month at Hull University Sports and Fitness Centre, 9.30am-11.30am. Entry to the league costs £5 per team, per fixture and new teams are always welcome. REGIONAL ENGLAND U18 LEARNING DISABILITY TRIALS
The England U18 Learning Disability Squad is currently looking to identify new players to join their squad for the 2010/11 season. This season could be your opportunity to wear the Three Lions and represent England in both National and International competitions.
Ahead of the National trials for the England U18 Learning Disability Squad taking place in Lilleshall in October, Regional trials are taking place for all players within Yorkshire. These trials will be an open access event open to all players with a learning disability aged between 15 and 17 with experience of playing for a club.
Details of the trials are as follows:
Date: Sunday 26th September 2010
Venue: West Riding County Football Association, Fleet Lane, Woodlesford, Leeds, LS26 8NX
Time: 10.00am – 1.00pm
Playing surface: Grass (Please bring suitable footwear)
Format: Skills based warm-up & practice to assess movement, awareness and technical ability – Small Sided games (players split into 4 / 6 teams dependant on numbers) to assess game play and tactical awareness.
