The FA is now widely considered to be the world's leading governing body in the development of disability football. East Riding County Football Association is committed to making sure that there are opportunities for disabled people in all activities and at all levels.
Currently many disabled people take part in football as players and spectators. The County FA is committed to making the sport accessible to all. There are a number of courses for coaches and clubs to resource themselves to deliver a quality playing experience for everyone involved.
Here at East Riding County FA we are determined to provide all disabled people with the pathway to reach their potential either as a player, coach, referee or administrator. With our commitment to extending opportunities for players with a disability within the game there is much planned including: promoting the Yorkshire Ability Counts League; 2 Community Disability Football festivals; a Coaching Disabled Footballers course; delivery of football in special schools; and providing greater access to training courses for volunteers.
