This simple step by step guide will help you through the process of achieving Charter Standard.
Step 1
Download the Charter Standard application form on the right and familiarize yourself with the criteria your club needs to meet to achieve the award. To the right there are also related documents which will assist and support your application.
Step 2
Contact the East Riding County FA on 01482 221158 where a member of the Development Team will assist you with any queries and explain the criteria in more detail.
Following the initial call or meeting you will have a better understanding of the process and what your club will need to do to achieve the award.
Step 3
Once your club commit to achieving the award, the development team can assist you through the application as you proceed, as there may be further questions and areas that need clarification.
Support can be given over the phone, club visit or you can come in to the office.
Step 4
Once the application is complete, it should be sent in to the County FA where it will be checked to make sure it is fully completed. We will advise the club of any missing details or areas for clarification.
Entry to Step 5 is only achievable when we have a fully completed application.
Step 5
The completed application is then presented to the East Riding County FA Charter Standard Committee for approval or amendment (if appropriate). You will be informed of the outcome.
Step 6
If your application meets all the necessary criteria, it is sent to the FA for final approval.
Step 7
Approval is granted by The FA, who will contact you to formalize the award. The East Riding County FA will then contact you to arrange presentation of the award. Well Done.
