Over the years the Club’s First XI has developed via local leagues, the Yorkshire League and the Northern Counties East League to its current position in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division. During this time The Villagers made an appearance at Wembley in the 1997 FA Vase Final.
The Club first gained Charter Standard status in 2003. Each of the Club’s teams trains once a week under the direction of qualified coaches. Most training sessions take place on the Club’s Astroturf pitch or on North Ferriby Playing Fields. Whilst most of the teams play competitive football, there is an emphasis on actually playing for enjoyment. Obviously there is the opportunity for children to eventually progress to the Club’s open-age teams.
Each team is important to the Club and has its own page on the Club website which provides contact details, results and other news.
For players interested in joining the Club further information can be obtained from info@northferribyunitedfc.co.uk
